This page is dedicated to listing tools and information that can help you build a successful practice delivering unbundled legal services. It references websites, training, books, conferences, software and other valuable resources that have been shared by attorneys on our podcast.

Also, this page is also intended to be an open forum for readers to be able to share resources they have found to be useful. So please feel free to add your comments with your own suggested resources as well.

We also encourage you to check out the Unbundled Resource Center, which is a website that was created and regularly updated by the ABA Standing Committee for the Delivery of Unbundled Legal Services.

It is an excellent source of the latest updates, ethics opinions, training and everything else related to unbundled legal services nationwide.

  • Skype: 
    • A VoIP service which uses the Internet to allow people to make and receive free voice and video calls online for free or for cheap.

  • Dropbox:
    • Just like using an ordinary folder on your hard drive, except the files, you drag into your Dropbox folder are automatically synced and backed up online. The app runs in the background and automatically keeps your files in the same folder on all of your computers and mobile devices connected to your account at the same time.                                                                                                                                                                                                
  • eFax:
    • A service that lets you send and receive faxes over the Internet, from any device with email access (even your mobile phone).


  •  WordPress 
    • A blogging software as well as a framework for web development. Its an open source software written in PHP. WordPress currently shares around 40% of the all open-source software landscape.


  • Microsoft365
    • A cloud-based service that includes word processing, email and database management, spreadsheets, and more. Microsoft Office is designed to help meet your organization’s needs for robust security, reliability, and user productivity.

    • A corporation providing computer-assisted legal research as well as business research and risk management services.


  • Ring Central 
    • A publicly traded provider of cloud-based communications and collaboration solutions for businesses.


  • Google Voice 
    • A telephony service that provides call forwarding and voicemail services, voice and text messaging, as well as U.S. and international calls.


    • Lets you store your files in the cloud so you and your team can access, edit, comment and share them in real time from any device.

    • A corporation providing computer-assisted legal research as well as business research and risk management services.


  • QuickBooks
    • Helps you keep everything organized in one place. And, if you have an accountant, you can share your books for a seamless collaboration.
  • Smith.AI
